M. Dawood President

Mr. Muhammad Dawood serves as President and Executive Director of Takal Welfare Organization. He holds a Master’s in Management Sciences and brings over 14 years of experience in community mobilization, program management, and development project oversight across Pakistan. His expertise spans education, WASH, health, and human rights, with a strong background in M&E, proposal writing, and donor engagement. Mr. Dawood leads the organization’s strategic direction, operations, and mission execution.

Kaukab Saba (VP)

Ms. Kaukab Saba is a seasoned educationist and university faculty member, recently elected as Vice President of the Board at Takal Welfare Organization. She brings extensive experience in higher education and academic leadership. Her strategic insight supports the organization’s mission of education and community development. Her expertise strengthens our educational programs and capacity-building initiatives.

Hammad Afzal (GS)

Mr. Hamad Afzal is the General Secretary of the Board at Takal Welfare Organization. An Electrical Engineer by qualification, he brings valuable experience from large-scale hydropower projects and demonstrates strong skills in project coordination, communication, and organizational management. He is particularly focused on renewable energy and grassroots community development

Abdussalam Joint Secretary (M)

Mr. Abdussalam is the Joint Secretary (Male) of Takal Welfare Organization, bringing over 10 years of experience in social mobilization and child protection. He has served with the KP Child Protection Commission and led impactful community initiatives on voting rights, disability inclusion, and child rights. His expertise lies in grassroots advocacy and rights-based development.

Aimal Khan (Finance Secretary)

Mr. Aimal Khan is a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) with over 14 years of experience in finance and accounts. Associated with Takal Welfare Organization since 2012, he has worked on donor-funded projects across the non-profit and energy sectors. His expertise includes IFRS, ISA, and NGO financial reporting, complemented by training in ERP systems and NPO management.

Durre Shahwar Joint Secretary (F)

Ms. Durre Shahwar is an accomplished Board Director with over two decades of experience in international development. A Fulbright Scholar, she holds an MSc in International Development from the USA and brings a strong global perspective to the board. She has led impactful initiatives across diverse regions, focusing on sustainable growth and community empowerment. Ms. Shahwar currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of CHIP

Muhammad Sufyan (PS)

Dr. Muhammad Sufyan holds a PhD in Business Administration with extensive experience in marketing and international development. He currently serves as Director of Student Affairs at the University of Swabi, where he focuses on youth leadership and empowerment. His academic and professional background reflects a strong commitment to education and community development. Dr. Sufyan brings strategic insight and valuable expertise to the board
